When I sang at a Breakfast with Santa event at Bergen Town Center, Santa told me about his summers on the Wildwood boardwalk serving ice cream. I thought, "Wow! This needs to be a song!" So Amy and I brainstormed the whole boardwalk scene with Summertime Santa finding different ways to delight the kids there. Musically I was really going for that carnival/boardwalk type sound that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band conjure up, especially wit the use of the piano and bell sounds together.
